Our mission at Desert Scouts is to lower injury rates in youth sports across the world, while helping all young athletes to reach their performance ceiling within their sport(s) and achieve significant strides in their overall athletic performance. Desert Scouts provides young athletes with the best chance to remain healthy and injury-free throughout the entirety of their sports endeavors. We hope to inspire more children to not only to participate in sports, but to stay in sports, fostering a lifelong passion for physical activity and helping them achieve their goals.

DR. BRIAN "LINK" LINDQUIST
.Dr. Brian “Link” Lindquist is originally from Washington state where he grew up on a family farm. His childhood involved many sports and he found a passion for lifting weights and playing football. This played a significant part in preparing him for the physical and mental aspects needed for military special operations.
Dr. Brian served in the military as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) where he managed the integration and controlled the kinetic strikes of air assets supporting ground operations. He also served as an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Collection Manager with US and foreign Special Forces. He had a government career spanning over 25 years. He completed 11 combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan and lived in several countries around the world. While serving, he became a LINE Combatives Instructor that is martial arts based and designed for close combat used by US Special Forces.
Dr. Brian Lindquist has been the owner and founder of two businesses involving US government contracting and in international large construction project management focused primarily on Africa. His third and current business is with Desert Scouts where he is a co-owner. Desert Scouts was established as a partnership with Area Scouts focused on young athletes preventing injuries while reaching their potential.
Dr. Brian Lindquist is a doctoral student at Liberty University with an expected 2024 completion with a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) focused on Leadership. He has two MBAs in Government Contracting/Acquisitions and in Executive Management. Dr. Brian Lindquist is engaged to Stephanie Tellez (CFO/COO of Desert Scouts) and together they have three teenage boys all very involved in sports and being raised with Christian morals and values. Their family is currently residing in Las Cruces, NM.
Dr. Brian has a passion for business, a passion for sports, and a passion for helping others. This makes Desert Scouts a dream business to operate. Dr. Brian is excited to have a part in shaping the next generation and future generations of athletes.
